Now in the Gallery: Cash & Carry

The Exchange Gallery called all regional artists to enter the third annual “Cash & Carry” exhibition. We gave away 400 hardboard panels, they made the artwork. All interpretations and all media accepted. As always, we opened this exhibition to all artists regardless of level of experience and abilities, and of the 350 pieces that went up at the beginning of the show, almost half came from middle- and high school students, with many more by younger children. As always, other artists represented include Bloomsburg University professors and other professionals, as well as amateurs of all levels of experience.

We’ll have our Cash & Carry Reception on Friday, November 25th, 5:30-8 p.m. (before, during, and after Bloomsburg’s “Parade of Lights”). EVERY PIECE $25. The artist receives $20, the Gallery $5. Nothing better than art for the holidays!

Just because the show has opened, that does not mean that you have lost your chance to make work for it: Whether you use a wooden panel, or a small frame, or a piece of cereal-box pasteboard, as long as your piece measures close to 7″ by 9″ we will accept it. Anything that comes in during the show will go up as other work sells,
starting at the reception on the 25th of November.

This holiday fundraiser runs through January 6th.

We look forward to seeing YOUR art, and to providing you with art to take home!
