As part of the Personal Adornment Day & Makeup Extravaganza 8, Bloomsburg University students are bringing art to life! Come admire the displays of wearable art and makeup as the canvases walk down the runway here, at the Moose Exchange, on Thursday, April 26th from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Unfortunately, these works of art won’t last forever, so don’t miss your chance to see them! This unique runway show is free and open to the public.
Also a part of PADME 8 is a lecture and workshop led by internationally known art quilter, Jan Myers-Newbury. The lecture, 9:45 -11 a.m., and the workshop, noon – 4 p.m., will be held in Old Science Hall room 311. Both events are free and open to the public, however registration by April 23rd is required for the workshop. To register, or for more information about PADME 8, please contact Meredith Re Grimsley at mgrimsle@bloomu.edu or 570-389-4853.
