Find inspiration to live more sustainably at the Lexicon of Sustainability poster show on display Saturday, March 31st during the Community Market. Each of the 24 creatively composed posters illustrates a different aspect of sustainability in action today.
Black & White, the current exhibit of drawings, paintings, prints, photography, sculpture, and furniture, continues in Gallery 102 through March 31st — Wednesday-Friday, noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Next exhibit slated in 102 is Metamorphosis, with an opening reception Friday, April 20th, 6-8 p.m.
Work by NMAL members brightens the Stairwell Gallery March 16-April 15 in an eclectic mix of new original work ranging from paintings to fabric art to photography. Free and open to the public!
To kick off its exploration of the social, economic, and environmental impacts of natural gas extraction, Bloomsburg University’s Green Campus Initiative sponsored a screening of “Gasland” on Tuesday the 20th at 7 p.m. in the Ballroom, free and open to the public — and it drew 80 people.
Downtown Bloomsburg Inc.’s annual Spaghetti Supper fundraiser comes to the Exchange’s Grille Room on Wednesday, the 21st of March: spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, drinks, and a make-your-own sundae bar! Tickets $6 in advance, $7 at the door.
