Rusty Makes A Debut On Stage

A star among stars — our mascot “Rusty” appears on stage in Bloomsburg Area High School Drama Program’s production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Performances will be held at the Caldwell Consistory on March 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at 7:30 p.m., and a matinee on the 3rd at 1 p.m.

Collective Memory Reception

The Stairwell Gallery will host a reception for its Collective Memory Exhibition on Friday March 9th, 6-8 p.m. The exhibition consists of archival photographs that share the rich history of the old Moose Lodge as part of the “Collective Memory” project.

A Rose for the Exchange

The Moose Exchange was awarded a rose in the Press Enterprise’s “Roses and Thorns” column, calling the Moose Exchange “a bustling community center.”

Literary Reading

Bloomsburg University’s Center for Visual and Performing Arts and the Big Dog Reading Series present a literary reading featuring Randy Koch and Beth Couture. This event will be held in the Grille Room at 7:30 p.m., on Tuesday, February 21st, and is free and open to the public.

The CVPA is bringing V-Day to the Exchange

B.U. and the Center for Visual and Performing Arts will host V-Day in the Grille Room at 8 p.m. from February 29th to March 3rd. V-Day features a performance of playwright Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues. Proceeds support the global effort to stop the violence against women and girls.

Collective Memory

The Stairwell Gallery is hosting an exhibition from February 16th to March 9th of archived photographs that share the rich history of the old Moose Lodge. The exhibition is part of a “Collective Memory” project that invites community members to share their memories from the Moose.

Exchanging Some History

The Moose Exchange is digging up some history! View the 1950 section of the Morning Press dedicated to the completion of 203 West Main Street. Also, find out how one man is restoring some very large vintage bowling equipment in addition to working on our lanes.

Next Jazz Night TONIGHT!

Jazz Night returns with Burgess, Mitchell, and Seal on Friday, March 23rd, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., to benefit the Greening Greenwood campaign at Greenwood Friends School. Cover charge $10, BYOB, light refreshments available.
