KIN*AST*EX, the stretch/yoga program with instructor Michelle Peguero, continues with new sessions Wednesday, September 7. Michelle, former gymnastics instructor at Columbia Academy, offers programs for all ability levels and focuses on flexibility, core strength and whole body coordination. Artist/tenant Annie Barnhardt recently conducted informal introductory sessions in Italic Calligraphy and Beginning Bookbinding. Annie has scheduled one day “Make & Take” classes in Bookbinding in September and an ongoing Italic Calligraphy class running from October 1-December 3. Paintings, drawings and other works by Exchange artist/tenant William Whitmoyer and BU art professor Jason Godeke are currently on view through September 10 in the Stairwell Gallery. Whitmoyer and Godeke host the figure drawing sessions on Wednesday evenings at the Exchange. A reception for the artists was held September 2 in the Ballroom.
Box of Light Digital Arts Studio invites kids ages 5-14 to participate in its first LEGO Competition. The goal? To have a blast, be creative and spend quality time with other Lego Maniacs.
