Make art in response to the open, poetic language of improvisational storytelling written by people with dementia. The Stairwell Gallery is looking for artists to create new work in response to stories written by residents of Balanced Care of Bloomsburg. A selection of seven different stories are available.
Come see this year’s “Cover of a Cover” art show at The Moose Exchange’s Stairwell Gallery. Feast your eyes on four dozen album covers reinterpreted by local artists.
Opening on the 19th of November, with an artists’ reception 6-8 p.m. on Friday the 22nd, this show features the railroad-themed work of painter Richard Lilley and photographer Oren B. Helbok.
The reception runs from 6 to 8 p.m., with a triple threat rock-and-roll live music afterparty immediately following. We’ll see you there!

The Stairwell Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of original work created by 24 local and regional artists who responded to our open call for interpretations of the concept of “nest”. The show remains on view until the 9th of August.
The Stairwell Gallery calls all regional artists to enter original works of art for an exhibition that revolves around the concept of “nest” — any and all interpretations. Artwork must be received by 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 16th.
